Football Hall of Famer who annihilated quarterbacks loves Bills' Josh Allen

Charles Haley used to sack the Buffalo Bills quarterback in Super Bowls.

The current Bills signal caller is his favorite NFL player.

Haley, a Pro Football Hall of Famer, was asked by Kay Adams on her "Up & Adams" show who he enjoys watching most in the league.

Not Dallas' Micah Parsons, San Francisco's Nick Bosa or another defensive menace on Haley's former teams.

    It's Josh Allen.

"That white guy in Buffalo that's a quarterback. He is my dawg, man," an exuberant Haley said. That white guy. Hey, bruh. Jesus Christ. Oh, my God. Whoo."

Adams couldn't believe Haley, a fierce defensive end and linebacker who racked up 100.5 career sacks, picked an offensive player. Haley defeated Buffalo in back-to-back Super Bowls with the Cowboys. He once smashed his helmet through a concrete wall in the locker room after a regular-season loss to the Bills.

"You watch that brother? Oh, I forgot he's white. You watch that brother, though? Do you see what Josh does to these guys? He gets up like this. Runs over them and gets up like this?" Haley said as he gestured flexing over an opponent. "But I would've tapped him on his shoulder if I was playing and said 'You ain't ever going to do that again.'"

Haley played for the 49ers and Cowboys over his 14-year career from 1986-1999 and is the first five-time Super Bowl champion. Only Tom Brady (seven) has more Super Bowl rings than Haley.

Allen is chasing what Haley has. He told the "Pardon My Take" podcast that he'd retire if it guaranteed the Bills would win a Super Bowl in the following season.
