Bills GM Brandon Beane has no time for the stupidity of Josh Allen haters

An ESPN article polling NFL personnel to find out who they believe are the top 10 quarterbacks in the NFL has gotten a lot of attention from the folks in the 716.

In the article written by Jeremy Fowler, an anonymous executive was quoted as calling Josh Allen "one of the most overrated players in the NFL."

Buffalo Bills GM Brandon Beane, who drafted Allen, took exception to this and spoke about the comments at Bills training camp.

"It's frustrating," Beane said. "You try to ignore this stuff, but Josh is going into year seven and there's still the naysayers. I don't get it. If I was going to use a "rated" I would use underrated before I would say overrated. And I know I'm biased. He's our guy and we love him every single day. These things that come out there, I know that people love the rankings of whoever, but when you don't put your name to it and you make comments like that? Like, who is this executive? Executive is a loose term. I was probably referred to as an executive way before I should have been. So, I just say if you're not going to put your name on it, we really shouldn't validate it."

This was prior to his "There are idiots everywhere quote" that went viral on social media.

Any sort of bashing aimed at Allen at this point is comical and reeks of lack of knowledge and stupidity. It appears Beane realizes that and didn't feel like biting his tongue any longer.
