Bills' Pro Bowler snubbed as meritless Madden ratings strike again

Death, taxes, and Madden ratings being completely dumb.

It’s evident that those who make the ratings for the legendary EA Sports Madden NFL video game either don’t know much about football or they purposely make their ratings poor in order to have fans complain and talk about them for days at a time. If the latter is the case, well then mission accomplished.

Amongst the more notable Bills’ ratings snubs is that of left tackle Dion Dawkins. The three-time Pro Bowler was left out of the top 19 of the highest rated offensive tackles in the league.

Meanwhile, Dawkins is listed behind guys like Garret Bolles, who he is head-and-shoulders above in terms of talent.

The top 10 tackles on the list are as follows:

    1. Trent Williams, 99 overall
    2. Penei Sewell, 96 overall
    3. Lane Johnson, 95 overall
    4. Tyrin Smith, 95 overall
    5. Laremy Tunsil, 94 overall
    6. Tristan Wirfs, 94 overall
    7. Terron Armstead, 92 overall
    8. Christian Darrisaw, 91 overall
    9. Rashawn Slater, 90 overall
    10. Andrew Thomas, 89 overall

Dawkins should certainly be closer to the top 10 than completely out of the upper echelon all together.
