Bills Receivers Making Strong Impression in Post-Stefon Diggs World

The Buffalo Bills know that they need to find a way to move the ball through the air if they want to have any chance of finally ending the Kansas City Chiefs' run of dominance.
After the trade of All-Pro wideout Stefon Diggs, though, the receiving room in Buffalo isn't filled with what people may consider world-beaters.

Despite the lack of a true top target, the Bills have been impressed by the entire group as a collective, and hope that many quality role players could build a cohesive plan around the receiving room.
“I’ve been pleased with how the guys are working together in the offense and just understanding the identity of that room,” Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady said. “There are a lot of targets obviously missing from last year, we had a great football player at the wide receiver position. And look, we lost a few other guys in the wide receiver room. You don’t just replace [Diggs], but I’ve loved how the guys have worked, how they’ve kind of taken to this offense, the identity of the offense, and how they’re going to be utilized. It’s been a lot of fun, just their selfless mindset. I’m excited to see that kind of take off.”
Brady's comments have been echoed by franchise quarterback Josh Allen. Without a top receiver demanding the ball consistently, Allen has the chance now to pick apart defenses and throw to the open player only.
That lack of forcing the football could lower his turnover total which was the highest in the NFL last season.
In the end, it appears that the Bills are more than happy to see the Diggs-era end, because it brings a new way of attacking defenses to the forefront.
