Hard to believe this week is August already, but that’s one step closer to players being back in Buffalo and back on the ice for another NHL season. In the meantime, anyone watching the Olympics? I don’t watch much of the summer games, but have dabbled a bit in watching some of the women’s gymnastics as well as Sunday’s USWNT soccer game. (I also caught a bit of Canada’s game on CBC.)

A couple who met dumpster diving have welcomed a baby together - who now sleeps in a cot they found in a bin. Erin Sheffield, 39, and her husband, Dave, 35, met in a dumpster while at university and hit it off over their love of searching bins for items of value.
