Updated schedule, map released for this weekend’s Mural Masters events, including Sunday discussion at Highline Heritage Museum

An updated schedule and map was released for this weekend’s Mural Masters event, along with a list of Artists who will participate in a panel discussion at the Highline Heritage Museum at 4 p.m. this Sunday, June 23, 2024.

Mural Masters is an esteemed annual graffiti and street art festival held in Burien’s Art Alley since 2014.

“Each year, we bring together over 20 international and local artists to transform our cityscape with stunning large-scale murals, spanning diverse styles and disciplines. Our mission is to cultivate inclusive community spaces, deter graffiti, and foster economic growth through the celebration of urban artistry.”

Sunday’s panel will include discussions on the history and relevance of graffiti, artist philosophies, mural styles, the importance of murals in public places, and more.

“We invite anyone who wants to know more about the art form to bring their questions, concerns and thought,” organizers said. :This will be an open and inclusive conversation with a panel of heavy hitters!”
