Fort Worth’s Fire Station 16 Will Move to This New Site
Fire Station 16 will move to a new location in the same area from 5933 Geddes Avenue to 5701 Lovell Avenue in the Como neighborhood of Fort Worth. The two locations are about half a mile apart. The current fire station was built in the 1960s, the same decade the now-closed Edmondson’s Fried Chicken was built. Both buildings will be demolished.
