A Burlington woman and three children were hospitalized on Tuesday after a rollover crash in the Penobscot County town.

Police were called at 5:48 p.m. to a single-vehicle crash on Long Ridge Road in Burlington.

The car, a 2016 Chevrolet Equinox, was seen traveling from the town of Lincoln with two blown tires before the crash, according to Maine State Police.

Witnesses told police they saw the car hit a curb in Lincoln and continue driving toward Burlington, which is about 20 miles northeast of Bangor.

When state troopers got to the crash scene, they found the car on its side in the woods with both passenger-side tires blown.

The driver, 48-year-old Jennifer Harriman of Burlington was brought by ambulance to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Three children were in the car at the time of the crash. A 1-year-old was brought by Lifeflight helicopter to Eastern Maine Medical Center. Another 1-year-old and an 8-year-old were brought by ambulance to Penobscot Valley Hospital.

Police said none of the injuries were life-threatening.

The crash and the circumstances leading up to it remain under investigation.
