    RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCT) — Oscar Galdamez-Escalante of Burlington took a chance on a $25 scratch-off and won a $100,000 prize.

Galdamez-Escalante bought his lucky Extreme Cash ticket from Sam’s Grill on N.C. 119 North in Mebane.

He claimed his prize Tuesday at lottery headquarters and, after required state and federal tax withholdings, took home $71,507.
