SEATTLE — The Port of Seattle and the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport confirmed that the internet and web outage impacting the airport is the work of a cyberattack. Cleveland Browns rookie linebacker Winston Reid was ejected for an illegal hit in the second quarter of the final preseason game against the Seattle Seahawks. The apparent illegal hit took place on Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Easop Winston during their mid-quarter drive. The undrafted free agent appeared to lead with his shoulder on the attempted tackle and Seattle’s Winston was not injured on the play.

City of Edmonds seeks proposals for prosecuting attorney services
The City of Edmonds is seeking proposals from law firms interested in providing prosecution services. Since mid-2023, the city has been using the Walls Law Firm for those services. Walls replaced longtime Edmonds firm Zachor, Stock & Krepps (ZSK), which submitted a resignation letter March 10, 2023 — citing a lack of communication between then-Edmonds Mayor Mike Nelson and his contracted staff.
