DUBOIS, Wyo. — The Dubois Chamber of Commerce is wrangling up all things cowboys and cowgirls with a rodeo, brewfest and free live music this weekend. The lineup of western events kicks off on July 26 at 7:30 p.m. with the Dubois Friday Night Rodeo. Later that evening (Time TBD) the Dubois Western Activities Association is hosting the Outside Circle Show at the Rustic Pine Tavern. This free performance highlights the authentic sounds of working cowboy music.
NHSFR Champions Are Crowned In Rock Springs, Wyoming
This past weekend concluded the largest youth rodeo completion in the world, showcasing over 1,800 of the world's best high school rodeo athletes from five countries and nearly every state. The competition widdled down to the top 20 short-go qualifiers, with the champions rising to the top of a competitive field.
A new face for City Hall unveiled
The Douglas City Hall will soon receive a facelift, and now we have a better idea of what the nondescript building at Fourth and Center streets may look like. The city council voted in July to accept a $389,000 bid from K&R Construction, of Douglas to replace and repair the building’s facade. K&R is partially owned by Douglas City Councilman Ron McNare.

Trial set for Gering man charged in baby’s death
