Editor’s note: “Just Sold” is a Finance & Commerce feature based on the newest certificates of real estate value filed with the Minnesota Department of Revenue for commercial sales throughout Minnesota and reports of sales across the country involving local parties. Research includes company and broker documents, online real estate listings, F&C archives, Catylist and other research.

The familiar AAA logo is about to disappear from the company’s administrative office in Burnsville.

The Auto Club Group, based in Dearborn, Michigan, sold the 38,000-square-foot building at 600 Travelers Trail W. for $3.15 million to Skyline Property LLC, an entity related to a private investor in Lakeville.

The sale closed May 5 at a price that works out to $82.89 per square foot.

The buyer confirmed the sale and said the seller was using only part of the building.

The Walker Hotel, a 37-room independent lodging property in Walker, has sold for $1.94 million in a deal between private parties.

Joseph Ferguson, Jon Ruzicka, Jake Erickson, and Jared Plamann in Marcus & Millichap’s Minneapolis office, had the exclusive listing and procured the buyer.

The Walker Hotel, located at 906 Minnesota Ave W., has witnessed substantial revenue growth over the past two years, thanks to recent renovations, said Ferguson. “The incoming buyer is poised to sustain this upward trend and plans to implement additional improvements, further enhancing guest satisfaction,” he said.
