Brooklyn Park Police Pursue Felony Suspect Through Neighboring Brooklyn Center, Suspect Still at Large
Early morning on August 27, law enforcement engaged in a vehicle chase through the streets of Brooklyn Park, which spilled into Brooklyn Center, as revealed by the Brooklyn Park Police Department. The pursuit began when police officers attempted to pull over a vehicle around Zane Ave N and 610, occupied by an individual wanted on a yet-to-be-confirmed felony burglary warrant. According to the Brooklyn Park Police Department Alert, the suspect was possibly in violation of a protection order.
19-year-old man shot on St. Paul's east side
ST. PAUL, Minn. — St. Paul police are working to figure out who shot a 19-year-old man on Tuesday night in the Payne-Phalen neighborhood.Officers were called to Westminster Street near Jessamine Avenue just after 8 p.m. on reports of someone being shot. The victim had already been driven to Regions Hospital, police say, where he was treated for a gunshot wound to his leg. He's expected to survive.Police are still trying to figure out what led up to the shooting and who else was involved.
