Hinsdale pool a pretty cool place to be
By mid-afternoon Tuesday, it was hard to believe rainy, gloomy weather had caused the Hinsdale Community Pool to close earlier that day. The sun was shining from a brilliant blue sky adorned with fluffy white clouds. The crowd might have been smaller than usual, but there are still plenty of patrons - adults swimming laps, playing with their kids in the water or reading a book in the shade of one of the large umbrellas. Two-year-old Millie Jane Muskievicz was participating enthusiastically in her private swim lesson with instructor Finn Hamman, a rising junior at Hinsdale Central.
7 Great Lobster Rolls In Chicago
After hot dogs, lobster rolls might be the unofficial sandwich mascot of summer. And while many in Chicago involve a gallon of mayo and filling that can barely be identified as lobster, here are seven standouts to keep in mind when the urge to visit lighthouses and look up real estate listings in Kennebunkport hits. Just be prepared to spend anywhere from $25 to $45 for a “market price” roll.

Video: 2 Illinois Dogs Tied the Knot
On the South Side of Chicago, two dogs proved that it's more than puppy love as they got married on Saturday. About a year ago Comedian Gabriel Iglesias threw a $100,000 Quinceañera for his chihuahua. As a dog lover, I am no stranger to spoiling dogs. However, I think we can all agree that shelling out $100,000 for a dog party is too far. But hey, if you have the money, how you spend it is your business. Back in 2018 actress Sofia Vergara put together a huge birthday party for her son's dog. So, I guess this is a thing and anything is paws-ible.
