Around 850 visitors of all ages visited the American Quarter Horse Museum and Hall of Fame over the weekend for its annual Family Fun Day. Food Drive For the High Plains Food Bank Happening Friday!
Coming up Friday, July 26th, Alpha Media Amarillo will host our 5th annual “Cash and Cans” food drive for the High Plains Food Bank! The Alpha Amarillo crew will be out from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the east side of our studios here at 3505 Olsen. On-air personalities from our 4 stations (KXGL-FM “The Eagle”, KGNC-FM, KGNC-AM and KVWE-FM “The Sports Star”) will be on-hand, accepting donations of cash and non-perishable food items to help the High Plains Food Bank! This year, we’ll also be asking people to donate any school supplies – spiral notebooks, folders, pencils, etc. – which we will deliver to AISD and CISD for students who may be in need.
