Willie's Chicken Shack Bringing New Orleans Flavor to Miami Beach

Willie's Chicken Shack, a New Orleans-born fast-casual concept, is set to open a new location at 1441 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139, brand owner Aaron Motwani told Business Debut.

The restaurant, known for its fried chicken and New Orleans-style soul food, is awaiting final permits to begin construction. Motwani hopes to open in November or December.

Willie's Chicken Shack also offers a variety of drinks, including 10 different daiquiri flavors, cocktails and local craft beers. The Miami Beach location will seat just under 100 people between indoor and outdoor areas.

This will be the second Willie's Chicken Shack in Florida, following the Key West location that opened about a year and a half ago. In total, the brand has 14 locations, most of which are in Louisiana.
