Bonchon Korean Fried Chicken Coming to Tampa

Bonchon, a Korean-style fried chicken franchise, is set to open its first Tampa location in early September, franchisee Sam Takla told Business Debut. The restaurant will be located at 2320 E Fletcher Ave, Tampa, FL 33612.

Takla, a long-time fan of the brand, used to drive to Orlando for Bonchon's food. Now, he's bringing the experience closer to home. "We wanted to bring it to Tampa. We want to share the food and the experience... we believe in the brand as customers," Takla said.

The Tampa Bonchon will be a fast-casual restaurant with seating for 40-50 people inside. The menu will feature their signature double-fried chicken and other Korean dishes like bulgogi and more.

This location is just the beginning for Takla, who has signed on to open 3-4 Bonchon restaurants in the area.
