Whether it’s onboard the Zipper, the Zillerator Coaster or the Viper, thrillseekers are sure to find something at the Washington County Fair.

The Washington County Fair will be held from July 19-28, and is welcoming Butler Amusements and their 29 carnival rides back to the midway this year.

The daredevils among us can get their adrenaline rush on Butler’s newest and most popular ride, the Khaos, rated five out of five ride intensity points for “extreme thrill.”

Those who aren’t so keen on tossing up all that fair food can still enjoy carnival classics like the Century Wheel and family-friendly favorites like the carousel.

And if you think you’ve got what it takes to best the carnies and bring home the mega-sized plush of your dreams, give one of the variety of carnival games a shot.

Not really sure what your carnival style is? Measure up against rider height requirements on the Butler Amusement website.

Fair admission is free, but rides and games cost tickets. A wristband for unlimited rides can be purchased for $33 from Monday to Friday, or $38 on Saturday and Sunday. Wristbands are valid on the day they are purchased from opening until closing. Riders will also be charged a service fee with their purchase. Additionally, a limited quantity of $10 Fast Passes will be sold, allowing passholders to skip the line.

Otherwise, tickets may be purchased for $1 each, with rides costing three to six tickets each and games costing 10 tickets or more.
