Live On The Lawn At Kingwood
Kingwood Center Gardens is hosting “Live on the Lawn,” a series of free concerts every Thursday in July. The events kick off with free admission at 6:30 PM, with concerts starting at 7:00 PM. Visitors are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic dinners to enjoy alongside lawn games and delicious food from local food trucks.
Shawshank anniversary celebration planned
Celebrities are expected to soon confirm whether they will be in Mansfield this in August for the 30th anniversary of The Shawshank Redemption. Every member of the movie’s cast and crew has been invited to return. The Shawshank Redemption 30th anniversary celebration will take place Aug. 9- 11 at the movie’s 15 filming sites throughout North Central Ohio. They’re known as the The Shawshank Trail. The complete list of Shawshank events that will take place this summer is still growing.
