St. Louis neighborhood commissions Morrison piece
TAHLEQUAH – Cherokee National Treasure Eddie Morrison has another sculpture on display – this one permanently in a St. Louis neighborhood. The piece stands on St. Louis’ Cherokee Street, and it was commissioned by an assemblage of residents and business owners. A final fundraiser was held July 20, but the work was put in place on June 28. Street parties and an official unveiling are to be scheduled.
