Two Cabool High School rising juniors took first place at a Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) national event in Seattle, Wash.

Cambree Woodard and Emma Brennan placed first in the “Event Management – Level 2” competition. There are approximately 500 competitors each year in the event management category – which has three levels. FCCLA has approximately 237,000 members nationwide.

A “welcome home” event will take place for the girls this evening, July 4. Check the Cabool Schools Facebook Page for details.

Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) is a Career and Technical Student Organization that functions as an integral part of the Family and Consumer Sciences education curriculum and operates within the school system.
