Ranch Drive, Blackwell and Tonkawa add new fire trucks
PONCA CITY — Ranch Drive, Blackwell and Tonkawa are celebrating the purchases of new fire trucks. Blackwell and Ranch Drive used funds collected through the Kay County Fire Sales Tax that was passed on Nov. 8, 2022, (see story) for the purchases. Tonkawa will use the sales tax fund to purchase equipment for the truck.

Davidson man dies in Tillman Co. wreck
TILLMAN COUNTY, Okla. (KSWO) - A Davidson man is dead after a wreck in Tillman County. It happened about two miles southeast of Frederick. According to a report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 58-year-old Craig Barker was driving his pickup truck on N 2250 Rd. When he attempted to make a right turn... his truck ran off the road and rolled one time. Barker was ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
