Little Bit Warmer and Drier this Weekend
WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) - Good evening Texoma! It’s been a wet day, but it’s also been cool - super cool! Temperatures today topped out in the mid-to-upper-70s, but that came early in the day. This evening temperatures are hanging out in the upper-60s in parts of Texoma. We’ve received just under half an inch of rain here in the falls, but locations around Lawton got over 2″ between last night and today. Rain is working its way out of the viewing area and should be out of the area by the time that we head to bed. As we head into the weekend, temperatures will be much warmer today, but not as bad as we’ve experienced the past week or so. Temperatures will return to the low-90s on Saturday and then the upper-90s on Sunday. Sunday night into Monday, another potent front drops into Texoma and brings more widespread rain and cooler temperatures. Hurricane Beryl could bring some rain showers by the middle of the week into parts of Texoma, but it depends on the track of the storm.
