Local man charged with felony theft
Hopkinsville police have charged a Hopkinsville man with felony theft following investigation into a theft that occurred on Lafayette Road in June. According to the police report, investigation began when the victim reported that seven fishing poles were stolen out of the back of his truck on June 30 and the Hucks gas station on Lafayette Road. Using video surveillance footage, officers were able to identify the suspect as 48-year-old Arby Kimble.
Hopkinsville Woman Charged With Manslaughter In Todd County
A Hopkinsville woman was charged with manslaughter on Tuesday after an investigation into an Elkton man’s death last month. Todd County Sheriff’s deputies say they investigated the death of a 21-year-old man who was found to have died on June 18th from a fentanyl overdose, which was confirmed following an autopsy.

Woman under the influence arrested after accident in Hopkinsville, drugs found in car
HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A 46-year-old woman was arrested over the weekend after an accident on the Eagle Way Bypass. On June 29 at 9 p.m., deputies with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office pulled over to assist an accident in the turning lane of the Parkway. The woman was seen slumped over in the driver’s seat of an involved vehicle, exhibiting extremely slurred speech and delay reactions when responding to deputies, according to a news release from CCSO.
Store Security Check Leads to Foot Chase With Police
A Hopkinsville Police officer who stopped to make a routine check at a convenience store ended up in a foot pursuit that ended with the arrest of a Herndon man. Sgt. Mike Felts said he got out at the Dodge Store on West 7th Street just before midnight Monday to check on the clerks inside and noticed 39-year-old Richard Anderson walking away from the front of the store quickly and then running behind the Dollar General Store next door.
Tennessee Man Charged With Running From The Police
An Adams, Tennessee man was arrested on charges he failed to stop for police Saturday night following a speeding violation. Hopkinsville police said they observed 31-year-old Vincent Morrow driving 61 mph on Fort Campbell Boulevard. The report said when the officer turned on his emergency lights to try and catch the vehicle it accelerated and turned onto McCoy Avenue and turned off his lights.
