Two men were shot to death Friday afternoon at a home on Judith Lane in Cahokia Heights.

St. Clair County Coroner Calvin Dye Sr. identified the victims as Torian T. Hopkins, 40, and Anthony M. Andrews, 41, both of 123 Judith Lane, the scene of the slayings. Hopkins was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:40 p.m. while Andrews was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:45 p.m., Dye said.

They were shot multiple times, Dye said.

Cahokia Heights police responded to the report of the shootings, along with officers from the Sauget Police Department and agents from the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis and the Metro-east Auto Theft task force.

Police did not release details of the Friday shooting or whether anyone was in custody.

The Major Case Squad already was in town investigating the June 29 shooting death of Terrance Booker , 17, of the 1300 block of Julie Avenue, Cahokia Heights. He was found shot to death in a front yard on Williams Street.

No updates have been released in the teen’s slaying, including whether anyone has been arrested.
