Higbee woman pleads guilty in federal court to embezzling more than $2-million from employer
A Randolph County woman pleads guilty in federal court to embezzling more than $2-million dollars from her employer in neighboring Howard County over a 15-year period. Megan Dougherty, 36, of Higbee, pleaded guilty to one count of bank fraud on Thursday. As part of her plea, she also agreed to forfeit her interest in nine parcels of real estate in Howard County, as well as $2,393,288. She’ll be sentenced on a future date but faces a maximum sentence of 30 years in a federal prison.
Randolph County Resurfacing Project Set to Begin
RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo - Work is set to begin tomorrow on multiple resurfacing projects in Randolph County. Work will be done on Route K from Missouri Route 151 to U.S. Route 63 in Cairo. Work will also be completed on Route CC from Route J to Route K and Route FF from Route CC to the end of state maintenance.
