Lima man arrested after shooting
LIMA — A 20-year-old Lima man is in custody after a shooting that caused critical injuries, according to a press release from the Allen County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to the 2000 block of North West Street at approximately 9:31 a.m. Wednesday. They found a victim with two gunshot wounds. American Township EMS transferred the victim to Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center. The victim, who the sheriff’s office did not identify, had injuries that were “critical but considered non-life threatening,” according to the sheriff’s office.

ALLEN COUNTY, OH (WLIO) - Multiple area departments battled a third-alarm barn fire this afternoon near Williams and Bresler Lake reservoirs. According to fire personnel on scene, the call came in at 3 p.m. Tuesday for reports of a barn fire at 890 Grubb Road South, with Spencerville, American Township, Shawnee Township, Delphos, and Cridersville responding.
