Women's Ice Hockey Assistant Coach, Venla Hovi, Joins New Jersey Devils at Development Camp
Newark, N.J. - Harvard women's ice hockey assistant coach, Venla Hovi, recently spent time on the ice with the New Jersey Devils at their Summer Development Camp. Hovi was invited to join the camp as a part of the NHL Coaches Association program that provides coaches not a part of NHL franchises the ability to learn and experience NHL camps first-hand. Hovi was also the subject of a recent feature article on NHL.com that detailed her experience at the camp.

Con Edison will consider funding requests for specific programs and projects within the areas of interest, which include climate change and environmental stewardship, clean energy and technology careers, or social justice. Programs must have a strong leadership team that is highly engaged with the communities served and demonstrates a high level of community input into the project/program. Off-duty NYPD officer arrested in Brooklyn: police
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested Sunday night in Brooklyn, according to authorities. Noe Tattegrain, 37, was taken into custody around 10:30 p.m. He was charged with assault and suspended without pay, according to authorities. Tattegrain allegedly attacked his significant other during a domestic incident, sources told PIX11 News.

MONTCLAIR, NJ - Last week, Montclair Police Officers were dispatched to a residence at 1:41AM in Montclair on a report of a female who was having difficulty breathing. Devyani Shroff, a Montclair resident, had called her sons, Neil and Niku Shroff, to inform them of her medical distress. During the call, the brothers heard their mother stop breathing and immediately dialed 911. Upon arrival, the officers Giancarlo Corbosiero, Zachary Davis, and Jillian Sofield responded within minutes and found her unresponsive and not breathing and began CPR. 3 eastbound lanes on Rt. 3 in Clifton will remain closed through Tuesday morning, July 23
Route 3 eastbound remains closed following the tractor trailer crash and fire this morning in Clifton, Passaic County. Route 3 westbound reopened at 5:30 p.m., the NJDOT says. Later tonight, upon completion of the investigation and cleanup, one lane on Route 3 eastbound is expected to reopen. The three right lanes and the Valley Road ramp to Route 3 eastbound will remain closed until at least 5 a.m., Tuesday, July 23 for emergency repairs.
