WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. Senate Ethics Committee told Senator Bob Menendez, who was convicted of corruption last week, that it has taken the first step of a review that could end in his expulsion, the heads of the panel said on Monday.

Women's Ice Hockey Assistant Coach, Venla Hovi, Joins New Jersey Devils at Development Camp
Newark, N.J. - Harvard women's ice hockey assistant coach, Venla Hovi, recently spent time on the ice with the New Jersey Devils at their Summer Development Camp. Hovi was invited to join the camp as a part of the NHL Coaches Association program that provides coaches not a part of NHL franchises the ability to learn and experience NHL camps first-hand. Hovi was also the subject of a recent feature article on NHL.com that detailed her experience at the camp.

Off-duty NYPD officer arrested in Brooklyn: police
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) – An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested Sunday night in Brooklyn, according to authorities. Noe Tattegrain, 37, was taken into custody around 10:30 p.m. He was charged with assault and suspended without pay, according to authorities. ROSELLE PARK, NJ — The borough grew a little brighter recently, as Union County Connects, a 501(c)(3) charity that advocates for safer trail networks in Union County, unveiled a brand-new mural featuring a historical rendition of the Rahway Valley Railroad Engines. Painted on the Son-Rise Document Solutions building at the outskirts of the borough, the mural welcomes travelers into Roselle Park.
