Northern Ky. lawyer indicted, accused of stealing money from estates of women who had died

An attorney from Campbell County has been indicted after being accused of stealing from the estates of two women who died.

Jennifer Zaccheus-Miller, 40, was indicted on two felony counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition over $10,000 but under $1 million, the Kentucky attorney general’s office announced Friday.

A Campbell County grand jury indicted Zaccheus-Miller Thursday, according to the AG’s office.

Zaccheus-Miller, of the California community, is scheduled to be arraigned in Campbell Circuit Court July 30, court records show.

She was admitted to the Kentucky Bar Association in 2018, according to the association’s website.

Cincinnati television station WXIX reported in May that Zaccheus-Miller was reported missing after she didn’t show up for a court appearance, but she was later found by Kentucky State Police near Red River Gorge in Powell County and arrested.

In one case, Zaccheus-Miller was acting as an executor of an estate and allegedly took $26,000 from it that she was not entitled to, according to television station WLWT.
