House Resolution 501 would form a House Select Committee to investigate the actions and response of state and local law enforcement following the assassination attempt. The bipartisan committee would then produce a report on the incident no later than November 30th. Cutler says the committee will not be looking to assign blame, but rather it seeks to discover how law enforcement can better improve practices going forward.

It was a busy news week, and we could not get this interview on the FOX News Rundown during the week.
