Many Oklahoma districts begin providing free back-to-school supplies for students
EL RENO, Okla. — Oklahoma students are about one month away from returning to classrooms, and that means many families are taking their annual back-to-school shopping trips. For just one household, back-to-school shopping can cost more than $870 for supplies and clothes, according to a study by the National Retail Federation. School districts across the state are pitching in to help with those costs, including those in the Oklahoma City area.
