Coroner identifies 2 men killed in triple shooting over the weekend on Baxter Avenue
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The names of the two men shot and killed over the weekend in the Highlands neighborhood were released on Wednesday by the Jefferson County coroner. Michael Bachelor Jr. and Montay Wade both died after shots rang out on Baxter Avenue early Sunday morning. The coroner said Bachelor was 20 years old, and Wade was 29. One other man was injured in the shooting as well, but officials said he should survive.

25-year-old killed in multi-vehicle crash on I-64 West near Gene Snyder
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Jefferson County coroner identified the victim killed in a multi-vehicle crash on I-64 West Monday afternoon as a 25-year-old man. The crash happened around 4:50 p.m. on I-64 West coming from Shelby County near the Gene Snyder. Police said traffic was slowing down because of construction when a semi-truck in the center lane then crashed into a pickup truck, causing a chain-reaction. A total of five cars were involved.
