CAMBRIDGE — Police are investigating a shooting that injured two at the Corner Market Exxon Thursday afternoon.

Cambridge police say officers responded to the corner of Church Creek Road and State Boundary Road after a report of shots fired around 2:50 p.m. on Thursday.

While en route, officers were told a white vehicle was seen speeding away from the scene. Police eventually found the vehicle, which sustained damaged in the shooting.

A 19-year-old man and 20-year-old man were treated at the University of Maryland Medical Shore Center for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, police said. A Cambridge Police Department release indicated that the shooting appears to have been "targeted."

Officers are conducting an active investigation. Anyone with information about the shooting can anonymously call the Cambridge Police Department at 410-228-3333.
