Cambridge/Deerfield girls soccer defeated by Dodgeville/Mineral Point

DODGEVILLE - - The Dodgeville/Mineral Point co-op (4-0) had five different players score in a 5-0 victory over the Cambridge/Deerfield girls soccer team on Saturday.

Katie Scheckel (4:46) and Layla Novak (23:42) both scored, unassisted, in the first half. In the second half, Abbey Ludwig (46:57) found the back of the net, unassisted, while Ava Hying scored at the 59:28 mark, assisted by Ava McDonald.

Lilly Houtaker scored the fifth goal off an assist from Hying at the 61:09 mark.

Cambridge/Deerfield (0-3) faces Beaver Dam (1-2) on Monday at Prairie View Elementary School.
