    Cambridge track has 4x200 relay team win an event at Deerfield Mini Invite

    The Cambridge track and field team won one event at the Deerfield Mini Invite on Thursday, April 18 at Deerfield High School.

    For the girls, the 4x200 relay team of Kailyn Holzhueter, Melissa Jingga-Maron, Lauren Holzhueter and Shanna Schlieckau finished in first place at 2:12.87. The same four also ran the 4x100, taking second at 1:02.27.

    Sophia Downs scored third in the high jump at four feet, while Kailyn Holzhueter placed fourth at three feet and eight inches.

    Mallorri Buonincontro finished fourth at seven feet in the pole vault. Emillie Behm placed fourth in the long jump at 13 feet and 11.5 inches.

    Behm also ran sixth in the 200-meter dash at 30.35 seconds and scored seventh in the 100-meter dash at 14.56 seconds. Gabby Knutson ran seventh in the 400 meter at 1:12.80.

    For the boys, Cohen Kyburz (2:33.49) took fourth in the 800-meter run. The 4x100 relay team of Matthew Duell, Ben Fisher, Lucas Fisher and Kayden Hahn scored fourth at 53.61 seconds.

    Mason Sonnenberg (59.24) ran fifth in the 400 meter. Fisher took sixth in the pole vault at nine feet and six inches.
