From Road Trip Regret to Sushi Success: The Hidden Gem I Found in St. Louis

Our experience at Sado in St. Louis was nothing short of extraordinary—easily one of the best meals we've had in the city and an ideal spot for a date night. The atmosphere was intimate yet lively, making it perfect for a special evening out.

Every dish we tried was not only fresh and beautifully plated but also bursting with flavor. Their unique take on a dirty martini was a standout, perfectly balanced and a great way to start the night. The pork belly steam bun was another highlight—tender, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

We chose to sit at the sushi counter, which turned out to be a fantastic decision. Watching the chefs at work was fascinating, and it added a personal touch to the meal. They were incredibly friendly, answering our questions and offering spot-on recommendations that enhanced our dining experience.

Next time we visit, we're definitely planning to try the omakase tasting. Based on this experience, we can’t wait to see what the chef has in store for us. Sado has set the bar high, and it's a place we’ll be returning to again and again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy an exceptional meal in St. Louis!
