Hornell Steamers make it a dozen straight

The Hornell Steamers increased their winning streak to twelve games with a hard fought 8-5 victory over the Genesee Rapids on Tuesday night. Hornell now is 25-7-1 on the year and holds a five point lead over the Rapids for the top spot in the Western Division.
Steamers Win Again On Sunday
The Hornell Steamers defeated the Dansville Gliders 6-3 in a rainy Sunday afternoon contest at Babcock Park. Hornell has won ten straight and are now 23-7-1 on the year. Rustin Pope (Coastal Alabama North CC) got the Steamers on the board in the 2nd when he collected a RBI double. He came around to score on a throwing error to make it 2-0. Jackson Legg (LSU Eunice) drew a bases loaded walk to cap the inning.
