(MA) Meet Millie Mellow, a just over 14-months-old Bull Terrier and Plott Hound mix girl who is searching for her furever family. This poor girl was found living as a stray along with her sister Maggie. The two pups spent each day trying to find enough food to get by and a warm place to sleep. Once taken into rescue, it was determined that though they were sisters, they were not pair-bonded. Since then, Millie's sister has been adopted, but Millie has been waiting for almost nine months. She hopes she will not have to wait much longer.
More Information On Millie Mellow
Millie is a female 14-month-old Bull Terrier and Plott Hound mix pup who weighs, as of 7/09/24, approximately 45 pounds. She has a short coat length which is brindle, white, and cream in color. Millie is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.
According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Millie is an incredibly sweet and gentle southern lady. She is very calm and never wrestles or does rough play. Her gentleness even extends to her toys, which she treats with the utmost care. While she does love playing with other dogs, when they get to rough she is happy to wander off to relax in a comfy spot.
In addition to doing well with other dogs, Millie loves meeting new people! When with people Millie enjoys curling up next to them for snuggles and getting back scratches. She's also great with kids. Training-wise, she is still learning her crate and leash skills as she is still young. But, her foster believes continued training will be easy as she is very attention-motivated.
"These girls have such a gentleness to them they are going to steal your heart!" - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder
