(MA) Meet Chip Lexington, a 3-year-old Collie mix pup who unfortunately had to come to rescue when tragedy suddenly struck his life. Chip was previously living with a loving owner who took the best care of him. Sadly, his owner unexpectedly passed away, leaving Chip and his other fur siblings without a home. To make things even tougher, once Chip was accepted into rescue, it took a few more weeks until he was able to get a foster. Thankfully, Chip is now safe and happy with his foster family while he waits for the next chapter of his life to begin.

    More Information On Chip Lexington

Chip is a male 3-year-old Collie mix pup who weighs, as of 7/12/24, approximately 45 pounds. He has a medium coat length which is listed as white/cream and brown/chocolate in color. Chip is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Chip's main characteristics are outgoing, loving, calm, and gentle. He gets along with everyone he meets, be they adults or children, human or fur friends. He even does well with cats! As far as training goes, Chip is fully housebroken, leash and crate trained. He is truly a special boy who deserves the best!

"We knew when we met him that he was a special boy who wouldn't let a broken heart from the passing of his previous owner define him. He deserves all of the hugs and kisses and can't wait to find a new family to call his own!" - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder

    How Can You Help Chip?

If you are interested in adopting Chip, please fill out the adoption application form, which can be found here. He is available for adoption to anyone 24 or older and living in New England, NY, NJ, or PA.

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Great Dog Rescue New England can be found in the fostering section of their official website.

If you cannot adopt or foster, an easy way to help is to share this article or Smiegel's Petfinder profiles: www.petfinder.com/dog/chip-lexington
