(MA) Tilly is a sweet and gentle Bluetick Coonhound puppy who is ready and waiting to take over your house and life. This 7-month-old pup was found living on her own as a baby stray, trying to find enough food to get by. Luckily for her, Great Dog Rescue New England has taken Tilly into their care and placed her safely with a foster. But, even though she is safe and happy at her current home, she will not be truly at peace until she finds the furever family she knows she deserves.

    More Information On Tilly

Tilly is a 7-month-old Bluetick Coonhound pup who weighs, as of 7/22/24, approximately 40 pounds. She has a short coat length, which is listed as being a tricolor of brown, black, and white, in addition to merle (blue). Tilly is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Tilly is a special dog who is impossible not to fall in love with. Her main characteristics are sweet and gentle, and though she can be a bit shy at first, each new day makes her more outgoing. Her favorite thing is playing outside, followed by a cuddle on the couch.

As far as training goes, Tilly is very smart and a fast learner. She already walks well on a leash and is doing well with learning her house manners. She does well with other dogs of all sizes and ages. Additionally, she loves children and is very gentle with her foster family's human toddler.

"Hounds are known to be adventurous, independent, affectionate and energetic - she checks all of those boxes! She also has the softest ears. She is looking for the perfect family to love!" - Great Dog Rescue New England / Petfinder

    How Can You Help Tilly?

If you are interested in adopting Tilly, please fill out the adoption application form, which can be found here. She is available for adoption to anyone 24 or older and living in New England, NY, NJ, or PA.

Another huge thing you can do to help is consider fostering! There are never enough fosters to meet the demands of all the pups in need. More information on fostering with Great Dog Rescue New England can be found in the fostering section of their official website.
