(MA) Meet Posey, a 2-year-old Hound mix pup who recently came into Rescue care after surviving a very tough past. Posey was found at a hunting camp where she had clearly been abandoned. When she was found, Posey was a litter of puppies, a shattered leg, and was emaciated. It was clear she had been giving all of her energy into caring for her puppies, which she was able to keep alive. Since then, all of her puppies have found homes, and now it is Posey's time!

The state of Posey's back leg was so bad that unfortunately, it needed to be amputated. But since then, her rescue workers have nursed Posey back to health. They have watched her heal, gain weight, and learn to trust and love again. Now all she needs is a furever home. That's where YOU come in!

More Information On Posey

Posey is a 2-year-old Hound mix pup who weighs, as of 7/08/24, approximately 40 pounds. She has a short coat length, which is apricot, beige, and sable in color. She is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Posey is an absolute lovebug who is amazing with everyone she meets. She gets along great with all humans, children, and dogs of all sizes. She has demonstrated no interest in cats and is housebroken. Despite her hard past, Posey is completely full of joy, happiness, and love. She has a huge heart and is ready and waiting to melt yours!
