(MA) Meet Bear, a 2-year-old pup who has an unfortunate past. Bear was originally an owned dog, along with 4 other pup siblings. However, his "owner" abandoned them all, leaving Bear and one other locked inside a house. They were left to starve without any food or water.

Thankfully, Bear, and presumably all his siblings, were taken in by Great Dog Rescue New England. Now Bear is safe and sound living with a foster family. Despite his past dealings with humans, Bear is full of love and is ready to meet his new, and true, furever family!

More Information On Bear

Bear is a 2-year-old Mountain Cur & Labrador Retriever mix pup who weighs, as of 8/05/24, approximately 65 pounds. He has a short coat length, which is brown, chocolate, white, and cream in color. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.

According to Great Dog Rescue New England, Bear is a wonderful pup whose main characteristics are sweet, loving, and playful. He makes new friends wherever he goes, and especially loves other dogs. In fact, he would be very happy with a resident doggy friend. Some of his favorite things to do are explore outside and go for car rides. No information was given on whether Bear is housebroken, but he does know basic commands.
