The Washington, D.C., Department of Transportation’s (DDOT) Public Space Committee unanimously approved new amendments to its Small Cell Design Guidelines on July 18, allowing standalone poles for node use and approving three standard standalone pole designs. Police investigating a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run crash in Laurel
A man was killed in a pedestrian hit-and-run in the early morning of July 21 in Laurel. According to the Anne Arundel County Police Department, around 3:40 a.m. on July 21, officers responded to the intersection of Laurel Fort Meade Road and the access road to the Delta Bingo for a hit-and-run related crash. Devin Jones, 34, of Laurel, was found at the scene and taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
