The Fond du Lac Public Works director has unveiled a proposed budget for next year. Paul DeVries told the city council that two of the big ticket items are a bio-solids dryer and renewable natural gas at the Wastewater Treatment plant. DeVries says one of the big street projects in 2025 will be the reconstruction of South Main Street. DeVries says the project will involve the reconstruction of South Main from 6th Street to Merrill Avenue. He says the project will be done in phases starting in April and completed in July. DeVries says the Promen Drive bridge at Lakeside Park is slated for reconstruction after Walleye Weekend.
