Last of lawsuit over Green Bay City Hall surveillance microphones settled
GREEN BAY (WLUK) -- The remainder of a lawsuit regarding surveillance recordings at Green Bay City Hall has been settled, with the city paying the state $200,000. Green Bay installed the surveillance equipment, which recorded both audio and video, in late 2021 and early 2022. A lawsuit was filed in early 2023. After a circuit court judge ordered a halt to the use of the system, the city council prohibited audio surveillance.

Random Lake Man Airlifted From Early Morning Crash
A Random Lake Man had to be airlifted from a crash that occurred in Beechwood early this morning. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department says the man was drunk and driving through a construction zone in the area of county highways “S” and “A-West” when his car slammed into a piece of earth-moving equipment, setting that machine on fire. The man was able to escape from the wreckage and call 911 to report the crash, drawing response from Sheriff’s deputies and first responders.
