Apprenticeships to be offered for career & tech students
SALYERSVILLE – With two weeks left until school begins, the Magoffin County Schools District is preparing for the new year. In the Tuesday, July 23 Magoffin County School Board meeting, Superintendent Chris Meadows told the board that the first day of school for students is August 8, and the elementary schools have been holding “kindercamps” to help the incoming kindergarteners to be ready for the school year. He said they have announced to the community that the school board will be funding school supplies for all students this year, again. Back to school nights are coming up, as well.
