The Cannon Falls Chamber of Commerce is looking for Fiddle Players to participate in a Fiddle Contest, co-sponsored by the MN Fiddle Association, on Friday, Aug. 2. The contest will take place during Fun Fest on Mill Street. The Fun Fest will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. with the Fiddle Contest happening at 6 p.m. We are looking for fiddle players to participate!

Early one spring, roughly 30 years ago, a 100-plus year-old silver maple dropped a mammoth limb in the middle of our backyard. Being nighttime, we didn’t see it fall. But we heard it. Cannon Valley Cinema 10 hosts free family movies again
