Acworth Woman Accused of Biting 2 People
Tamara Raymond, 35, of Acworth, is accused of biting two people on July 14 at midnight at an Acworth residence, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department. Raymond got into an argument with the female victim and bit the woman on the chin, causing a chunk of skin to hang off. The victim was transported to Kennestone Hospital for treatment. The victim’s husband, who was asleep upstairs, woke to the commotion and attempted to break the pair apart, but was bit by Raymond on his right arm, according to the warrant. Raymond is charged with aggravated battery disfigure; simple battery harm; and criminal damage – second degree. She was arrested on July 14 at 2:32 a.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records. Raymond remains in custody without bond.

John Woodbury has been indicted on federal charges for transmitting interstate threats to injure FBI Director Christopher Wray and others. According to U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan, on June 7, 2023, Woodbury allegedly posted a message on 4chan.org threatening violence against Director Wray and others. The message reportedly included statements such as: “Let’s show them what a [expletive] ‘Nazi’ […] looks like […]. It’s time to burn these [expletive] down and hang them from trees.
