    Canton-Stark County weather this week: Hot, humid and rain coming from Hurricane Beryl

    Hot and increasingly humid conditions are expected today in the Canton area, with a mix of sun and clouds.

    The National Weather Service is predicting a high temperature near 91 degrees today with a low around 69 degrees tonight. Winds are expected to be light.

    Locally heavy rainfall is possible Tuesday night through Wednesday as the remnants of Hurricane Beryl interact with a cold front across the region. Flash flooding is possible. Strong-to-severe thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday afternoon and evening.

    Here's the detailed weather service forecast in the Stark County area for the rest of this week and the beginning of next week:

    Tuesday: A slight chance of showers, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 91. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

    Tuesday night: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 70. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, with more possible in thunderstorms.

    Wednesday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 8 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a high near 86. East wind 7 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

    Wednesday night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 2 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m. Mostly cloudy with a low around 68. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

    Thursday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 a.m., then a chance of showers after 2 p.m. Partly sunny with a high near 80. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

    Thursday night: A chance of showers before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy with a low around 64. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

    Friday: Sunny, with a high near 86.

    Friday night: Mostly clear with a low around 66.

    Saturday: Sunny with a high near 89.
